Kids Giving Salam
“Whosever witnesses an injustice or sees a need that must be met, should effect change with his or her hands; if this is not possible, then with his or her tongue. If this is not possible, then within his or her heart, prayers for change should be made.” – Prophet Muhammad (s)
Kids Giving Salam (Peace) is Al Fatih Academy’s program that integrates community service and civic participation into our daily curriculum. Students and staff realize that helping in any way possible is the duty of a Muslim; the size of the efforts is not important, but the consistency with which we do good for others is.
We believe strongly that our ties to one another strengthen a more moral and ethical character.
Kids Giving Salam is interconnected to the Peace Leaders Program.
