Parenting Resources

At Al Fatih Academy, we strongly believe that children do not learn piecemeal, nor is any one aspect of their lives the sole source of their learning. We put great emphasis on the home – school- community connection. It does take an ummah to raise a child.

Our children are an amana, a trust, from Allah (s), and they hold certain rights over us. Besides having their basic physical needs met, each child has a right to a wholesome family atmosphere, access to the best education, and the respect that comes from being some of Allah’s most beloved creation.

Tarbiyyah, or holistic upbringing, can be a challenge at all ages and stages of our children’s lives. The most important aspect of our collective experience is to now that we are ourselves open to learning and growing in our roles as parents.

Here we would like to share and exchange ideas that will help parents grow and provide tools to carry out our responsibility with as much support as possible.
