Assalamu alaikum Parents and Students,
Half the year has flown by! In our PE classes students have been working on various physical exercises to enhance their fitness levels. Students have increased their strength and endurance, as well as body control and agility. They are now faster at switching from one movement to another quickly and have worked on strengthening their core muscles. Check out some of our exercises below:

As we look to finish the year strong, Grades 2 through 8 are practicing for their push-ups and sit-up tests which will be conducted in March. Parents and older siblings are encouraged to help students perform these exercises correctly.
I am pleased to see that students have kept up with the demands of rigorous work out in our virtual classes. I hope that they are enjoying themselves at the same time.
May Allah keep them strong, healthy and happy and give them the best in both the worlds.

Our exercises include stretches, squats, planks, sit-ups, flutter kicks, wrist twists, mountain climbers, bear crawlers, crab kicks, bunny jumps, frog leaps, tumbles, and burpees!
In addition to our warm up exercises, students have enjoyed fun games like Simon Says... (left video). Students have even taken over class (like Zainab) and led exercises themselves (right video):
