Nawal Eid

Mrs. Nawal Eid is the Learning Specialist at Al Fatih Academy. She is passionate about helping students gain confidence by developing essential skills to overcome academic challenges. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Speech-Pathology and Audiology and a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mrs. Nawal has worked in education for over 14 years, 10 years as a speech-language pathologist in public schools, and then four years as a Reading Specialist at King Abdullah Academy. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a Certified Structured Literacy Teacher through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI), and has completed Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham training through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education. Mrs. Nawal enjoys spending time with family and friends, seeking beneficial knowledge, and exploring new places for quality sushi, chocolates, and lattes.
