Our Early Childhood program promotes the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical and social growth of the child.  The curriculum uses a “hands-on” approach to learning.  It is based on the belief that children learn best through "active learning," direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, events, and ideas are encouraged. Multi-sensory activities that enhance the total development of the child are planned around a theme, or as part of an integrated unit.

The Early Childhood Program at Al Fatih Academy uses the High Scope educational approach to teaching and learning.  This approach is research based and child focused which uses a carefully designed process — called "active participatory learning" — to achieve powerful, positive outcomes.   The High Scope educational approach is based on the belief that young children build or “construct” their knowledge of the world.  They learn best from pursuing their own interests while being actively supported and challenged by adults.  The High/Scope Preschool Curriculum not only helps young children excel in language and cognitive learning but also promotes independence, curiosity, decision-making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem solving — the fundamental skills that help determine success in adult life.
