Abdus Samad

Abdus Samad is the Vice Principal at Al Fatih Academy. He cares deeply about creating safe, structured, and nurturing spaces for children to learn and grow. His work is guided by a simple mission: to support every child with compassion, kindness, and firm expectations. Abdus holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University (GO RAMS!!!) and a Master of Business Administration from Shenandoah University. He brings over a decade of experience in case management, healthcare operations, and executive leadership. He has led multidisciplinary teams and served children and families in both for-profit and not-for-profit settings, including high-quality ABA services and addressing behavioral & emotional needs.  He has held training certifications in crisis management and de-escalation through Ukeru Systems and The Mandt System. Outside of work, Abdus has a social battery that stays at 100! He is a self-proclaimed undefeated Uno & Skip Bo Champion. He enjoys travel, especially road trips, and is a big-time foodie!
