Selen Ince

Selen Ince is a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher at Al Fatih Academy. She is passionate about partnering with families to provide a caring environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, and spiritually in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Mrs. Ince graduated from Çukurova University in Türkiye with a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language in 2001 and has been teaching ever since. Throughout her career, she has taught students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in public schools across Istanbul, Türkiye, serving as an English Lead Teacher. Earlier in her career, she also worked as a Group Leader and Administrator for a youth camp organization in Bursa, where she developed leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills. After moving to the United States, Mrs. Ince worked as a Special Education Assistant in Los Angeles, gaining valuable experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. She later joined Quba Center as a Kindergarten Teacher, where she continued her passion for early childhood education before joining Al Fatih Academy. Mrs. Ince is excited and grateful to be part of the Al Fatih Academy family and looks forward to welcoming her new “mini Muslims” and their wonderful families. Outside the classroom, Mrs. Ince enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new cities, swimming and hiking.
