Mohammad-Ali Beheshti

Mohammad-Ali Beheshti is a Middle School Math Teacher at Al-Fatih Academy. He believes mathematics is a powerful tool for solving real-world problems and is committed to helping students build confidence, independence, and strong analytical skills in alignment with AFA’s mission to nurture purposeful and capable learners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics from Virginia Tech, an interdisciplinary program combining mathematics, statistics, and computer science. He previously taught middle and high school mathematics at Alim Academy, including Algebra I and II, Geometry, and AP Statistics. While at Alim Academy, he developed project-based learning experiences connecting data science to real-world applications. He is committed to helping students build strong mathematical foundations, independent learning skills, critical thinking, and confidence in solving real-world problems in alignment with AFA’s whole-child mission. Originally from Tehran, Iran, he enjoys biology, programming, combat fitness, and soccer.
