Inclement Weather Policies
As temperatures continue to drop, please note the following important information:
- Outdoor Recess will be held any day when favorable weather conditions exist. Please ensure that your child is dressed in clothing appropriate for colder temperatures including hats, gloves, and winter jackets.
- Indoor recess will be held any day when there is significant precipitation.
- School cancellations, delays, and early closures are announced independently of local school districts. Stay tuned to AFA emails, Facebook & Website updates and text alerts sent to your smart phones for AFA updates.
Please note, some smart phone carriers are not compatible with the Renweb text alert. In addition to sending text alerts parents can use the other forms of communication listed above to receive immediate information.
